| A Week at a Glance
At LeadAZ, we take a very unique approach to daily learning. We believe in fewer lectures, more freedom, and student-led learning. We’ve created a one-of-a-kind hybrid approach (online and in-person). Each day of the week is divided into two categories:
Instructional Days (T/W/Th)
- In-person attendance at LeadAZ campus.
- Focused on learning, team building, and coaching.
- Optional afterschool activities (3:00-5:00).
Supplemental Days (M/F)
- Optional in-person or remote attendance.
- Designed for self-led learning and study.
- Field-trips, physical education, and enrichment.

The schedule below is our template schedule for instructional days (Tuesday – Thursday). Each day may feature a different highlighted activity, but this serves as a standard template:

Daily Planning & Strategizing
Students meet with their instructors one-on-one to create a personalized study plan for the day.
Individualized Learning
Students choose what they work on and work at their own pace. Instructors provide direction, support, and encouragement.
Reflection & Meditation
Students reflect on their accomplishments for the day, set goals for tomorrow, and take time to unwind before finishing the day.
| Campus Activities
In addition to a great learning experience, LeadAZ students will have access to a number of incredible opportunities and fun activities. These activities take place during after-school hours and during supplemental days. Before each year, LeadAZ admin share a list of potential activities.
Field Trips
Diverse opportunities to help students with career prep, cultural exploration, leadership skills, and making life-long memories. Required attendance.
Tutoring & Life Skills
LeadAZ cultivates a list of local experts to help students with academics, music, and various interests (cooking, IT, woodworking, etc.).
Clubs & Hobbies
Students and staff form clubs based on special interest (media, art, sports, etc.). Clubs include other members of the community.
